Frans Vermeulen
Frans Vermeulen was born in July, 1948 in Holland. In 1970, he graduated from teachers training college and worked as a schoolteacher until 1978. At the same time, he has started to study homeopathy at Stichting Klassieke Homeopathie in Haag.
Between 1983 and 1996 he translated English and German homeopathic books, including Hering, Borland, Kent, Allen, Boericke, Vithoulkas, Tyler, Whitmont, Voegeli, Köhler, Miles and Morgan.
His first book (1985) was Kindertypen in der Homöopathie (Children's Types in Homeopathy). In 1990 he was appointed director, teacher, and administrator of The School of Homeopathy in Holland. In 1992 he wrote Synoptic Materia Medica 1, after which followed the Concordant Materia Medica (1994) and Synoptic Materia Medica 2. He is also author of PRISMA where he introduces data from many non-homeopathic sources which underline the similarities between homeopathic remedies and substances.
